Alfie Evans’ Parents Accuse Hospital of ‘Blackmailing’ Them to End Their Son’s Life

LIVERPOOL, England, March 29, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – The father of a 22-month-old boy condemned to die by the European court says he is being “blackmailed” into cutting off his life support.

In a Thursday Facebook post, Thomas Evans said personnel at England’s Alder Hey Children's Hospital won’t let him hold Alfie Evans until he agrees to allow his son’s ventilator to be removed.

“I have just brought my sister niece and younger brother in Alfies room to give him cuddle time,” Evans says, “and was told that my family cannot hold my son until I speak about removing the vent with the consultants and agree to something.”

Nor can any other family member, the post adds, including Alfie’s 12-year-old cousin who was in the room when the family received the ultimatum.

“We are being blackmailed into our son's death,” the aggrieved parent writes. “Let's have this post be seen by the world how wrong.”

A European court panel rejected yesterday the final appeal in the fight to save the life of baby Alfie Evans, as LifeSiteNews reported.

A three-judge panel of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), located in Strasbourg, France, ruled that Tom Evans and Kate James’ appeal to take their 22-month-old son abroad for medical care was “inadmissible,” and that the child’s rights under the European Convention on Human Rights were not being violated.

Britain has a track record of killing babies they think should not live and not allowing parents to seek treatment abroad. This is a horrible policy bordering on genocide that the British have adopted. Hitler and Dr Mengele would be so proud of what that country has become.

one more reason they don’t the public to own guns. we won’t let you take you son out of the country for treatment, and you can’t be allowed to even hold him unless you agree to let us kill him.

Indisputable truths, evident to anyone paying attention:

1. The least qualified, most ego driven, and talentless people in any society almost always wind up running governments at the highest levels. Almost always.

2. Those narcissistic enough to be driven to government-based power can never be trusted to act in the best interest of individuals, or to protect the freedom of individuals. They will almost always react threateningly to any challenge of their power - and are driven by their egos to meet such challenges by taking away more freedom from those making the challenge.

3. Inevitably, the collusion of those who think they are intellectually superior to others (e.g. academics) and those who think they should lead others (e.g. politicians) leads to a Tower of Babble effect in which humility is lost and stupidity becomes the order of the day. Inevitably. Nothing dumbs down society more than mixing the egos of pathetic academics and narcissistic politicians.

No parents should ever have to face having their love for their children become a consideration secondary to the will and power of politicians. Ever. Society has a right to protect children from unscrupulous, uncaring, and harmful parents, but this is a right that should never ever be abused. Abuse of this right should be severely punished - with imprisonment of those in power who are responsible, and a permanent removal of their privilege to work in any government capacity.

Actually, if we are to prevent the abuse of power in any government, we need to have immutable consequences for such abuse = as a deterrent. I’m in favor of a minimum sentence of loss of all financial assets and a requirement for hard labor for a minimum of 5 years for any politician caught purposefully abusing their power. I’ve had it with these people.

No judge, no lawyer, no committee, no administrator, in Britain or USA, should ever have anything whatsoever to do in decisions of life or death.

But why is no one in Britain doing anything to stop such practice? Why is no one demanding an explanation from the hospital? What could the hospital say to justify this? What about a demonstration in front of the hospital with banners accusing them of being amoral monsters? That would catch attention of many uninformed people. Are there no pro-life organizations in the UK? If there are not, why don’t the people whose loved ones have been killed in this way found one and travel around the country campaigning against such practice?

Thousands of people tried that last time (google Charlie Gard). US hospital and the Gesu both offered to take the baby no charge. Went all the way up to Teresa May and European Court of Human Rights. British court and hospital committee blocked everything and killed the baby. Brits are totally brainwashed to new way of thinking, listen to them talk, all cliches and phrases of culture of death. Murder to save money and cover errors of socialized medicine.

Gard case was covered by Terry Schiavo Life and Hope Network, they are experts on these killing issues in the “dictatorship of relativism.”

If their main argument is the costs, how could they possibly argue against sending the sick person to another hospital if the costs will be covered?

In my earlier comment, I mentioned traveling around the country and taking the message to the people. Why is no one doing it? If mothers whose children were killed in this way did this, don’t you think they would be able to persuade others? A grieving mother is a very strong weapon, isn’t she?
