You are going to quote this Book the rest of your life! Lost people quote this Book, lost scientists quote this Book, people that absolutely hate God quote this Book. Atheists quote this Book! Why? Because the same God that made us made this Book. And you are not going to get away from the fact that there is an integral part - there is something about that Book in us that our Designer has linked us permanently.

You don’t need a King James Bible to quote a King James Bible, did you know that? That is a fact. I say again, you don’t need a King James Bible to quote a King James Bible. You don’t have to believe in a King James Bible, you don’t need to believe in God, you don’t have to believe in anything else – but you are still going to quote from a King James Bible!

Begin with Genesis chapter 30 and I am going to give you two groups – One is going to be some Bible quotes that the Bible had before mankind ever used them, and they found their way into our every day speech; and the second will be Bible facts – facts that the Bible had before science discovered them.

Science likes to take credit for a lot of stuff, and if they had just read their Bible they would have known about them some 2,000-3,000 years ahead of time – but leave it to science to drag behind.

In Genesis chapter 30, Laban makes this statement in verse 27:

“And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, If I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake.”

And that’s that phrase, “learned by experience.”

Haven’t you done that? You look at when you got out of high school and how much you knew. You knew everything – and as you got older, you got dumber. Remember how much you thought you knew? And what happened? As you grew older, ‘you LEARNED BY EXPERIENCE.” Isn’t that what they say? You get hired but you are going to have to ‘LEARN BY EXPERIENCE’ . . .

Some of you men, you finally married someone that said ‘yes’, but how many did you ask before that? You had to ‘LEARN BY EXPERIENCE’. Maybe you asked 4 or 5 so when the results came in you got one.

But the fact is that over life, as life goes on, you will ‘LEARN things BY EXPERIENCE’.

Is a King James Bible different from the King James Version of the Bible?
