“To be “out of Communion” means, at the very least, out of fellowship.

Can such a person attend church? If so, he is still part of the fellowship.

Even Catholics who are in mortal sin--- and thus cannot receive Holy Communion --- are still morally obliged to attend Sunday Mass, and willful failure to do so is another mortal sin.

People are only obliged to leave if they are disruptive.

Hon, anybody can "attend" Mass at a Catholic church if they behave themselves. Mormons. Muslims. Martians.

Even you.
