Yes!
But no where in that admonition is the following ever allowed:
carving out statues of your mom or dad
kneeling before them and praying to them
being dependent upon your mom for your salvation
devoting entire schools to the study of your mom
attributing to your mom supernatural abilities
Roman Catholicism has done all of those with Mary.
Roman Catholicism actually doesn’t do any of those things. If your knowledge about Catholicism is but a charicature, maybe you should stop commenting.
