Yeah, as valid as a manager at a recent facility whose perception, along with another idiot, that a ransomware virus, which encrypted all the data wasn’t that dangerous.

Reality is reality. At least in this dimension.

The persistence of religion illustrates what happens when perception replaces reality. Reality is real, yes, but what you perceive is not necessarily reality.

BTW, these two fools, watched by another, were stupid enough to restart a completely-infected PC and tried to connect it to another manager’s machine. They completely ignored me twice but were unsuccessful because the ransomware had taken over the infected machine at the highest priority, making it all but impossible to execute anything.

I was, of course, marginalized from that point on. Only time I’ve ever seen anti-best-practices attacked. Ever. Of course, none of them had ever made it out of a dying Kansas town, so.....
