Shooting rapid-fire vinegar-laden arrows serves no good thing and only reveals the defensiveness of the shooter.

Nice dodge to my question! What's the matter, can't you answer it? I served no vinegar and showed no defensiveness. I asked a simple question. Please show me exactly where in the Bible that Jesus preached at an altar and required one for "proper worship". And by the way, who determines exactly what "proper worship" is? You?

[5] For there is one God, and one mediator of God and men, the man Christ Jesus:

[5] "One mediator": Christ is the one and only mediator of redemption, who gave himself, as the apostle writes in the following verse.

[6] Who gave himself a redemption for all, a testimony in due times. [7] Whereunto I am appointed a preacher and an apostle, (I say the truth, I lie not,) a doctor of the Gentiles in faith and truth. [8] I will therefore that men pray in every place, lifting up pure hands, without anger and contention. [9] In like manner women also in decent apparel: adorning themselves with modesty and sobriety, not with plaited hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly attire, [10] But as it becometh women professing godliness, with good works.

Do you profess a creed? Who do you think will judge the living and the dead, if not Jesus Christ?

Do you profess a creed?

Roman Catholics are big on creeds it seems.

Who do you think will judge the living and the dead, if not Jesus Christ?

The question is...are you, or anyone else for that matter, prepared to meet Him.

24For Christ did not enter a holy place made with hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; 25nor was it that He would offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the holy place year by year with blood that is not his own. 26Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. 27And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, 28so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.

Hebrews 9:24-28 NASB

Hate to break it to you, but Jesus Christ is God; He doesn't mediate with anyone above Him.

I guess you've never read John 14:6 then:

6Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

I’ve heard of it. But Jesus Christ, who is God, does not mediate with God the Father.

Won't answer the question, huh?

I think the passage from Hebrews I posted answers your question. It also wipes out a lot of Roman Catholic dogma.

You did not answer the question.

For the second time, who do you think will judge your merits for salvation upon your death? God the Father or God the Son?

Regarding salvation...for those who have faith in Christ there is no judgment of the "merits of salvation".

6For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die.

8But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

9Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.

10For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

11And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. Romans 5:6-11 NASB

Oh, that’s right.

Some of y’all have already pre-judged yourselves.

My mistake.

Not pre-judged. Just accepting Him at His Word.

So you already know you’re going to Heaven?

Have you heard of the sin of presumption?

So you already know you’re going to Heaven?

Yes. Based on His promise.

14“As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up;

15so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.

16“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17“For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

18“He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:14-18 NASB

Have you heard of the sin of presumption?

Only in Roman Catholicism.

No I don’t do *creeds*.

I have Scripture, which says the EXACT thing that you posted.

There is ONE mediator between God and man, and that is Jesus Christ.

et: I’ve heard of it. But Jesus Christ, who is God, does not mediate with God the Father.

Word of God: 1 Timothy 2:5-6 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.

And I should believe YOU over the God breathed, Holy Spirit inspired Scripture for what reason?

So Jesus Christ is not God?

A simple "Yes"or "No" will suffice.

For the second time, who do you think will judge your merits for salvation upon your death? God the Father or God the Son?

No one because NOBODY *merits* salvation.

Salvation is a free gift, given by God through faith in His son.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

We are then transferred into God's kingdom and Christ's righteousness is credited to our account. We don't depend on OUR righteouness, but the righteousness of Jesus given to us as a gift.

Colossians 2:13-15 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.

He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.

Colossians 3:3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

I've already been judged, before I die and have passed from death to lif3e and am now seated with Christ in the heavenly places.

John 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

Ephesians 2:1-10 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Salvation is a free gift, given by God through faith in His son.

So you believe all Christians are saved and none go to Hell?

And I noticed you didn't capitalize, "son"; so you've already answered my question.

So you already know you’re going to Heaven?

Yes, be cause God said so and He cannot lie.

I'm not sure o f my destination because I think I'm so good and deserve it.

I'm sure because I believe Him who said,

John 3:14-18 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

John 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

John 6:40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

Have you heard of the sin of presumption?

Yes, we have. It's another fabricated sin by the Catholic church to keep its people in the bondage of fear.

After all, if they didn't dangle one's eternal destiny over their heads, where would they get adherents?

No better way to guarantee the fidelity of the *faithful* than to threaten them with eternal damnation if they don't go along with your program.
