We must never forget that at this time of year, we celebrate much more than a birthday. As the great Christian apologist C.S. Lewis put it, Christmas is the story of how the rightful King has landed. When Jesus stood before the Roman governor Pilate, just prior to going to His execution, Pilate asked Him, Are you the king of the Jews? After some discussion Pilate concluded to Jesus, You are a king, then! Jesus answered him, saying, You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world
Of course, Jesus was not just any king; He was a king with a holy mission. He was a king who was born to die. Amazing love, how can it be, that you my king would die for me. Jesus was, and is, our Savior King. As author Charles Sell put it,
"If our greatest need had been information, God would have sent us an educator. If our greatest need had been technology, God would have sent us a scientist. If our greatest need had been money, God would have sent us an economist. If our greatest need had been pleasure, God would have sent us an entertainer. But our greatest need was forgiveness, so God sent us a Savior."

Finally, Jesus stepped to earth and filled the void, because only a perfect Man/God/Sacrifice could fix the problem we had insisted on.
What we worship demonstrates that which we value most - and there is only One worthy of our worship. He was worshiped while still in the womb as his pregnant mother met with John's pregnant mother and John leaped withing the womb at the encounter. He was worshiped by those who knew Him as he walked the earth. He is worshiped now by those who have heard and believed His story and He will be worshiped through all Eternity.
Merry Christmas - He is born!!!!
Don’t forget what He said to them that would judge and condemn him (to die): “tear down this temple and in three days I will raise it back up”.
For those who believe (he is the son of G-D sent to die for our sins), we have been given (by his death, burial, and resurrection on the third day) the simple message there is hope, salvation, and everlasting life for us.
To the non-believers, it’s the deal of a lifetime. Even Satan can’t match it. So choose wisely and don’t pass up a good deal.
I may not have gotten the wording exactly right but if you truly believe then you already understand what I meant to say - Jesus is the way, the only way.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Jesus is the “Way” indeed! Merry Christmas!
