BRUSSELS (ChurchMilitant.com) - The European Union (EU) is accusing Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic of refusing to share the "burden" of allowing Muslim migrants into their countries.
On December 4 the European Commission — the governing body of the European Union that proposes legislation and implements the EU's decisions — launched "infringement procedures" against the three countries, claiming they are "in breach of their legal obligations."
The EU ruled in 2015 that 160,000 refugees be distributed throughout most member countries of the EU.
Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic were required to take in about 8,000 Muslims migrants. Poland and Hungary have not taken in any migrants while the Czech Republic has taken in 12 people.
After the massive jump in Muslim-perpetrated crimes in countries like Great Britain, Germany, France and Sweden — Poland's leaders have pledged to protect Polish citizens.

It seemed like a silly idea at the time, but here we are...in a world where, potentially, a world court could order three countries to commit suicide.

Perhaps the EU could enforce the ruling by putting tariffs on the goods of those three countries. High tariffs would be very damaging. But if I were the president of, say, Poland, I’d still tell the EU to go to hell.
They have been. Through MOST of the member countries.
They have no leg to stand on in this suit because three countries is not MOST of the EU.
Time for “Czexit”?

I appreciate them doing the right thing. Gonna spend some tourist dollars there.
In general, as migrants were dispersed to EU countries willing to accept them....they left their designated country (the EU doesn’t track this or keep numbers). Chief reason? Ninety-percent of the EU members don’t pay enough to survive in this status. So these folks drift off pretty quickly to Germany or France. You make up a new fake ID and just show up....the Germans have to accept you.
The other little thing which I doubt that the EU wants to admit in court is the Schengen Agreement (all of the EU members signed to it) says that where you land, is where you must apply for a visa. So the bulk of these 160,000 refugees....landed mostly in Italy and Greece. By the treaty, they’d all have to stay in Italy or Greece. On this fact alone, a court would throw out the the EU lawsuit.
I see Polexit, Czechexit, and Hunexit in the near future.
