My opinion, though, is that Jerusalem must be unified. Trump’s decision makes that more likely.

I personally see no reason to believe that Jerusalem will be unified either ethnically, politically, or otherwise, at this time in the End Time.

The unification of Jerusalem will obviously come after the Rapture and the seven-year period of Tribulation, following The Marriage Supper of the Lamb, after Jesus returns leading the Armies of Heaven--the Heavenly Host, (Rev. 21), Satan is bound, and the New Heavens and New Earth are established.

I don't see how any condition could exist in which the reunification of Jerusalem until the removal of all conditions in which hatred on earth exists.

If there had been a single verse I could point to to say, see, it must be unified pre-return, then I would have. Such a verse doesn’t come to mind.

However, my sense in going thru scripture is that half of Jerusalem doesn’t seem to be occupied by a foreign religion. It seems to be mentioned as just Jerusalem.

That’s just my sense, and I eould not force it on anyone by any means.
