"The Church of Sweden acted Thursday to urge its clergy to stop using solely masculine references to God by adopting a new handbook governing all forms of worship. The handbook makes significant changes to how priests are encouraged to talk about God.
We talk about Jesus Christ, but in a few places we have changed it to say God instead of he,' Church of Sweden spokesperson Sofija Pedersen Videke told The U.K. Telegraph. We have some prayer options that are more gender-neutral than others.
A wide majority of people decided on the book, she claimed. The handbooks stated goal, according to the Swedish TT News Agency, is for language referring to God to be more inclusive.

They think they created God in the first place, it seems.
Why are they trying to obliterate the lines that God has drawn? Scripture is very clear as to how we are to address God (and it is not as the "godess").
Sweden, let them drowned in Islam.
It is up to other Christian churches to band together with the statement that the church of Sweden will no longer be recognized as a Christian church.
Exactly!
Only in the liberal PC world are the Father and the Son not masculine.
For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 2 Timothy 4:3
I’m waiting for some of the major religious libs to push for bible rewrites using the inclusive “z” pronouns. I think I read one instance of that, but it hasn’t yet become a common call.
They are going to have to get rid of a lot of words and phrases, like kingdom, son of man, son of God, etc.
Thus, the Church of Sweeden begins its decline.
Began? The Church of Sweden, Church of England, Lutheran Church, Prysbyterrian Church, Methodist Church, have been on a slide into apostasy for decades.
Now joined by the Catholic Church
More inclusive. So there are several gods, one for each “gender.” There’s a L god, a G god, a BI god, a T god, a whole spectrum of gods, one for each color in the fagflag.
So does God get special pronouns? Like “THEY” or “ZEY”? Or does the pronoun change every time God wakes up in the morning and “feels deep inside himself” that today he’s a girl God, but tomorrow he will be a boy God, and the next day a tran God.
Do I really need to use that S tag: < /s >
Does it really matter? Who goes to church in sweden anymore?
PC in the Lords House. Just great.
“More inclusive” when referring to The Lord?
Does that mean they’re backsliding to polytheism?
I’ve been under the impression that there is only One Lord, One G-d.

We have to blame ourselves a little bit.
Most mainstream (read: liberal) Christians could not possibly why it is that we refer to our God/Lord with masculine pronouns.
This has been a problem since the second wave of feminism. They don’t understand that it’s not about chauvinism as much as it is about the nature of our God and minimally about the nature (but the ultimate power and importance) of women.
Most mainstream (read: liberal) Christians could not possibly EXPLAIN why it is that we refer to our God/Lord with masculine pronouns.
Sorry for the screw up.
