Plus the Muslims were getting to be 43% of the population of the coastal state of Rakhine. They could see the Muslims rebelling, declaring independence, and then declaring ownership of the offshore oil and gas deposits. And the Burmans were NOT going to let that happen.

Islam will never allow a single drop of sanity invade its overfull agenda. They will never have a “reformation”, never have a “renewal”, and never have “woman’s rights movement” within it.

The Buddhist Monk is correct. Although we are all sinners in need of redemption on a spiritual level, on the PRACTICAL level, a large percentage of the world’s issues could be alleviated with the eradication of islam. Of Course, the enemy of our souls would cook up something else to take its place!
