I’m not religious, but reading on here that supposed clergymen are imploring Christians to ignore their faith is disgusting. In better days, these people would be excommunicated.

Absolutely it is- if one ignores the faith, ie salvation through Christ- and ignore His words concerning life- then they can’t call themselves a Christian- God’s word is immutable- it doesn’t change just because a pope comes along and says it must ‘in order to __________ fill in the blank’
