If one gives up Catholic beliefs, guess what, you’re no longer Catholic.
The Roman Catholic Church ceased being Catholic sometime around 1965. Although it took a thousand years it seems history has proved the Eastern Orthodox correct in the Great Schism of 1054 in pronouncing the Roman Catholic Church heretics.
Ironically, your very screen name demands your submission to your pope at the risk of your own salvation.
It does not give you the option of dissent.
You MUST submit to the pope, like him or not, or be damned.
