Discernment-— that’s what this sycophant calls it. For most traditional Catholics, and even wavering ones— this “discernment” really apostasy. At least this is what have heard from devout friends who are horrified at this jesuitical hierarchy, leaning to a secular non-scriptural and much worse church they do not recognize. To the point they believe Benedict is under a kind of house arrest of silencing.
“....is apostasy”. Going to watch “A Man for All Seasons” for some kind of bearing on this from history. From a time when one’s beliefs could get one killed. In the face of islamofascism, they still can- even if one is an atheist, as far as the jihadists are concerned, they are the last and final religion. And the Church of Rome produces this... thing, in response. Certainly not warriors of old.
Would it surprised you that word “discernment” is also used when it comes to a calling to marriage or to the priesthood, etc.
