Why should I reread the writings of a heretic just for your pleasure?

Have you read the Council of Trent?

Thank you for admitting that you did not, in fact, read Luther. I forgive you.

As for Trent? Yes. I have.

How else could I have proven that you Catholics didn’t have a solid canon of Scripture until after Luther’s death?

How else would I know that you Catholics believe in salvation by works? (and faith, but the emphasis is on works)

How else would I know that the Holy Roman Emperor wanted the council to be Catholics and Protestants together, but the Protestants were turned away?

How else would I know that you Catholics brought back the Inquisition and tortured Protestants to try to force them back to Catholicism like a bunch of Muslims?

How else would I know that the Catholics banned 538 books?

How else would I know that the Catholics claim that only their church teachers are allowed to interpret Scripture, and so you’re not allowed to condemn Bergoglio with Scripture because you’re not allowed to interpret it?

How else would I know that you Catholics aren’t allowed to know for sure whether or not you have salvation?

How else would I know that Catholics still have indulgences and pilgrimages and relics?

All of this from Trent.

Shall I continue?
