Well if the Church wasnt so totally corrupt and venal during the middle ages then I guess Luther and the other protestors would not have anything to protest about and Protestantism would not have developed. Its a little late for the Catholic church to cry about the Proestants. They brought it about themselves and they have no one to blame but themselves. Perhaps if they spent more energy getting rid of corrupt crooks associated with the church as well as pedophile priests they would have a leg to stand on.
