I have to think that when a person is truth-blind, vaccinated with a very small dose of truth, mixed with lots of fillers that distort the truth that was added, there is no recognition of a "ouch."

Had an amazing festival worship service at my LCMS church Sunday. The sermon again reminded us of the difference between salvation by works (which we can never achieve) and salvation by grace which has already been achieved for us. I pity those who have so twisted the beautiful and simple Gospel of grace to the point they have no peace and no blessed assurance of their salvation. All needlessly because Christ is Sufficient!!!!
