Do we know Kurds decend from Medes?
Also, I thought Hittites were more from that area where the mountains and Euphrates met, and Media was farther east. Just asking. I have very little historical study in it.

The Kurds were the most pro Western/American faction in the various gulf wars Which is exactly why we will never recognize them, although we should.
