Only in a mosque.
No.
RE: No.
Can you elaborate please?
.
Yoga is low grade witchcraft.
.
May as well allow a satanic orgy there, then.
RE: Yoga is low grade witchcraft.
I don’t think it has anything to do with witches at all.
.
At Duke, I’m sure they do!
They used to give degrees in “Thought Transference,” and “Teleportation.”
.
editor-surveyor is correct; Yoga is a spiritual exercise done without the protection of the Holy Spirit. While not quite “witchcraft” it is not appropriate or healthy (probably dangerous) for Christians to be opening themselves up to the supernatural realm in a theological manner that denies and defies Christ.
The stupid is going to be strong on this thread.
.
You do not understand the concept of “witchcraft.”
Its not about flying brooms and such.
Its about bending God’s transcendental framework to man’s purpose.
That is definitively evil, and definitively Yoga.
.
Wasn’t there space in one of the athletic facilities for them to lay out their mats and do their stretching?
.

You’re here!
.
EVERYTHING in secular human society is polluted to one degree or another. We live with a fetid cesspool even if we want to get out, try to keep to the extreme shallows, and fuss about all the worldlings splashing about with gusto and spattering what little seems clean if only they are able.
Stretching exercises do not have to be low grade witchcraft but be prepared for an uphill battle to not duplicate the appearance of things other people are doing.
Christianity doesn’t have sacred places, unlike islam and others. When “the church” leaves the church building, it is just a building.
And yoga has many facets, one of which is cultural stuff. It’s neutral regarding Christianity in the same way that what store you buy your groceries at is neutral.
However, if you get into the spiritual trappings, that is where you can get into trouble.
Same thing with Feng shui. I’ve seen it used in interior decorating effectively, and I’ve seen people use it to perform chants regarding “bad spirits.”The former is spiritually neutral (cultural). The latter is not.
Dreadful.
“Yoga originated with a blatantly anti-Christian philosophy, and that philosophy has not changed. It teaches one to focus on oneself instead of on the one true God. It encourages its participants to seek the answers to life’s difficult questions within their own consciousness instead of in the Word of God. It also leaves one open to deception from God’s enemy, who searches for victims whom he can turn away from God (1 Peter 5:8).”

So, in so many words, the answer is it’s OK then?
I would get some popcorn, but there’s really little entertainment in hyperbole and high dudgeon.
Philistine!
