All of which amounts to a concern that the commission is being used as a cover: to look at the scientific and historical character of the document, but with the ultimate goal of presenting the Pope with enough information for the encyclicals dissenters to say: Times have changed Humanae Vitae needs to be interpreted in the light of conscience, according to the complexity of peoples lives today.
Before his death on Sept. 6, Cardinal Carlo Caffarra had privately expressed similar grave concerns about the commission. Like others, he believed the opening of the archives was a ploy to obtain selected findings and then present them to show that Paul VIs commission was moving in the direction of loosening the Churchs teaching on contraception, but undue pressure was placed on the Pope to reassert the doctrine.
Another expected strategy by commission members and other revisionists is to present any re-interpretations as part of a change in paradigm in moral theology, just as was achieved with Amoris Laetitia (The Joy of Love) in allowing for some civilly remarried divorcees to receive Holy Communion. The emphasis is expected to be on changing pastoral practice to make it more applicable to today a tactic, say critics, to alter and soften Church teaching by finding exceptions, while all the time insisting the doctrine wont be changed.

Novusordoism is not Catholicism, as known and practiced for well-nigh 2000 years; rather, it is a perversion thereof.
Build a fence in the front of your property.
Allow no fence on the remaining 3 sides.
Make an opening for the gate in the front fence, but do not install a gate.
Then go out and tell the world how you have built a fence to protect your property.
Or, in this case, Pope Paul VI properly maintained the fence on all 4 sides, and placed a lock on the gate in front.
Now, it is proposed to remove the fence on 3 sides, remove the gate, and then explain to the world how you are still protected by the fence.
Liberalism has infested the Church. It is destroying the Church. Disgusting.
The Church is attacked not destroyed
Paul VI merely restated eternal Truth, previously made clear by Pius XI’s Casti conubii, to the consternation of those who were already convinced that he would (or, rather, could) somehow “change” Christ’s teaching on contraception.
Given his well-known predilection for Modernism, this came as rather a shock to those who already had decided for themselves that it was legitimate and moral.
This is an excellent point which all Faithful should bear always in mind. We have it on no less authority than Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Himself that “the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
That’s right
The problem is....Humanae Vitae is not traditional Catholicism either. And no one should be surprised by or question this: the same man that promulgated it also promulgated Vatican II.

Yes! Correct!
Dear Jesus, please help our families; please help the Church!
This is not lost on me, piusv. I am trying to work within what is permissible for these forums. Freepmail me; we can speak freely there.
Since the Catholics in Name Only crowd and their enablers in the hierarchy have never paid any attention to Humanae Vitae anyway (other than to bitch about it) this is just the Fishwrap needing to fill a space and egg on those who cheer for the current anti-Pope in Rome.

Moreso, it is prophecy. Be of good cheer, for soon we shall see the Lamb of God “coming in the clouds of heaven with much power and majesty.”
Verily, these are indeed the end times.
Alas, none are so blind as those who do not wish to see, and too many are feign to give hyperdulia to the very Mother of God, even to the point of having no compunction about blaspheming her.
Nevertheless, these are rather exciting times. Watching Prophecy unfold before those who have eyes to see … it is not easy to watch, but comforting to know that this all was foretold, and we all still have the opportunity to choose sides, as it were.
because His teaching cannot change.
