Maybe he should get back to molesting alter boys.

It is guys like this that really explain why Luther broke away from the corrupt church of 500 years ago.

Kind of makes me feel sad that I 'gave up' = for the 2nd time - the Catholic Church 20 years ago.
I would love to dump this 'bunch' again...
BTW you RCC Apologists, don't bother trying to chastise or convert me. Thanks.

If Paul were alive today I would cringe to see what he would pen in II Romans.

I’m a non-Catholic Trump supporter - does that mean I get a pass - what stupidity......
To: Finnwolf
“explain[s] why Luther broke away...” My view: Pope Francis shares Luther’s conclusions that the Church has too much real estate and should be liquidated by smart people, such as Francis and Luther. Fact: Francis is a high school and Luther is a red light district. The Church survives all storms.
The Jesuits are a headache for everyone.

Just as much insanity in the ranks of the religious as in those w/o religion - who knows, maybe even more.

They also accused former Trump adviser Steve Bannon of supporting apocalyptic geopolitics and railed against xenophobic voters for engaging in a fear-driven holy war motivated by a nostalgic dream of a theocratic type of state.Lots of rhetoric.

I read someplace Bannon is Catholic..
To: Finnwolf
Nope. Guys like this and Luther are of the same kind.
Neither one of them is Catholic.

Bannon was born and raised in a Catholic family and attended Catholic schools for most of his education (parochial grade school, Catholic military high school, Georgetown U. --- if that's 'Catholic'.)
He's 3x married and 3x divorced, don't know if he has any specificaly religious practice at all these days.
He does identify strongly, civilizationally, with Judeo-Christian West.
