Putin: ‘Pope Francis Is Not A Man Of God’
http://globalnews365.com ^ | August 4, 2017 | Nick Snowden

President Putin has slammed Pope Francis for “pushing a political ideology instead of running a church”, and warned that the leader of the Catholic Church “is not a man of God.”

“Pope Francis is using his platform to push a dangerous far-left political ideology on vulnerable people around the world, people who trust him because of his position,” Putin said.

He dreams of a world government and a global communist system of repression.

“As we have seen before in communist states, this system is not compatible with Christianity.”

“If you look at what he (the Pope) says it’s clear that he is not a man of God. At least not the Christian God. Not the God of the Bible,” Putin said at the Naval Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Kronstadt.

global central bank and financial authority, and more recently he said “Americans need to be ruled by a world government as soon as possible for their own good.”

Pope Francis’s idea that Americans would be better off under a world government doesn’t stop there. The radical leftist pontiff also went on record stating that Europe should become one country under one government.

He is also on record calling for a China-style one child policy for Western nations, as well as telling a congregation in Rome that having a personal relationship with Jesus is “dangerous and harmful.”

While Putin is a practicing Christian, he is not a Roman Catholic, and the pope is not his leader. According to his recent statements, President Putin does not even consider Pope Francis to be Christian.

The Russian president is rarely openly critical of foreign leaders, instead preferring to use diplomacy to win people over to his side. However notorious globalists including George Soros, Jacob Rothschild and Bill Gates have received tongue lashings before, and now Pope Francis has joined their company.

Pope Francis is trying to lay the groundwork for a global communist government. President Putin is wise to his ruse and has called him out on it. It’s time for more world leaders to tell the pope to stay in his own lane.

The Catholic faith is one that worships Mary the mother of Jesus as a god

Did you learn that disinformation from Obama or Debbie Wasserman Schultz?

>>I heard this first from a Catholic.

The Catholic church has regually suppressed Mary worship. It’s hard to stamp out because people like their goddess cults. And on the whole people getting a little too crazy about Mary seems a minor problem compared to protestant churches accepting divorced, homos, and anti-patriarchal people in their midst. What’s the bible verse about complaining about the spec in the eye of your brother while you have a log in your own eye?

I don’t have yo convert to anything. I am a believer in the Nazarene who was fully man and fully God. He is propitiation enough.

I think you totally misunderstand the comment! Russia is our enemy, yes, but it’s COMMUNISM. Putin statements indicate he is NOT in line with Communism as it is in opposition to Christianity. However, he will NOT always be their leader either!

Christians in Europe are different than here, as was discovered decades ago when Americans and Europeans came together for a crusade. Europeans drink and think nothing of it, whereas, most Baptists, Christians, and Protestant denominations do not drink. Jesus said ‘if a man believes it is a sin, it is a sin to him’....(para). God is not easily put in a box, the only criteria for Heaven is to believe that Jesus is son of God (Savior)....and Baptism is the renewing of old man to new.

Gonna be a lot of people in heaven that most thought would not make it!

It was. They trained 1500 pastors who started 3000 churches. Clendennen started a pastors boot camp. It was about 6 weeks long. I am looking to do the same thing for my house churches in Africa, India, and Pakistan.

“The Catholic faith is one that worships Mary the mother of Jesus as a god. I heard this first from a Catholic.

Is it the teaching of the Catholic Church to worship Mary as if she were God? No.

Do a lot of older and ill-informed Catholics tend to do things that amount to worship as a practical matter? Yes.

Has the Church looked the other way or tolerated this error for too many years? Yes.

I have my issues with Putin and FReepers need to be careful about ignoring his authoritarian tendencies, but on this subject I fear he has hit the nail on the head.

Rem Acu Tetigisti.

We have entered the Twilight Zone.

The Pope is a communist. Putin defends historic Christianity.

Before the election I ran across an article about the push to build a 3rd Jewish Temple on the temple mount. Among those who were quoted as speaking in favor of the idea were Putin and Trump. Interesting times.

I think Constantine had moved the capital of the Empire to Constantinople about 80 yrs prior to Rome getting sacked by barbarians. Moving the capital was one of many improvements Constantine sought to implement.

“I NEVER understood Lenin’s statement about it being the opiate of the masses. “

Actually the quote comes from Karl Marx. Marx seems to have picked up the idea from Ludwig Feuerbach, another leftwing scribbler of that era whose atheism echoes all these years later despite the fact that no one has ever heard of him.

Here’s the Marx quote in more context:

“Religious suffering is, at one and the same time, the expression of real suffering and a protest against real suffering. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people.

The abolition of religion as the illusory happiness of the people is the demand for their real happiness. To call on them to give up their illusions about their condition is to call on them to give up a condition that requires illusions. The criticism of religion is, therefore, in embryo, the criticism of that vale of tears of which religion is the halo.”

It’s from the Introduction to ‘A Contribution to the Critique of Hegel’s Philosophy of Right’.

I apologize for calling you a liar in post #105. I should have said something like Mrs. Don-o did in post #106, which makes more sense, as a practicing Catholic would never have told you that. In any case, I’m sorry.
