I have seen that phrase before. The last person I saw using it was an nasty little toad of a man, who was banned from this forum. Jus' sayin' ...
It's also a garbage phrase, which appears to imply that there is no objective reality or truth. I reject that evil ideology.
Nonsense.
Your replies to me are not all THAT righteous in all respects.
Personally, it appears to me that you are too prone to fighting the wrong fight on the wrong front and ignoring larger, more critical issues in the battles against evil.
The only reality any of us can deal with or comprehend is that apprehended by the organ between our ears. Choose your own label, oh masterful, magnificent, exalted, splendidly knowledgeable one of supreme mental and behavioral purity.
Perhaps you need a new ophthalmologist.
Perhaps you need to quit supporting, giving aid and comfort, to sodomite revolutionaries. Perhaps you need to acknowledge that sodomy is an inherently disordered and evil act, which can never be condoned. Perhaps you need to acknowledge that giving approval to sodomites in their destructive agenda is always wrong. Perhaps you need to learn that attending a public ceremony constitutes giving approval to the fundamental nature of that ceremony. Perhaps you need to understand that the fundamental nature of a sodomite “wedding” is a rejection of marriage, which God The Father created and His Son Jesus Christ blessed. Sodomy, and sodomite ceremonies, and sodomite unions are all Anti-Christ.
Go ahead: deny the existence of any objective reality. Don’t be shy about it.
Evidently you REQUIRE other Christians to agree with you 110%.Obviously 99% is insufficient for your exalted standards.
It will be interesting to see how God rates your unnecessarily punitive harshness and haughty perspective. However, those traits ARE productive in one way—they tend to produce significantly more gays among one’s sons.
Well, now, you can justify including me as a toad of a woman. Maybe all my years with my housemate has resulted in a lot of his phrases, perspectives and Biblical values rubbing off on me. Thankfully, the result has been a closer walk with God and more caring toward others. IIRC, Jesus puts a high priority on those two values.
ROFL!!!
I don't think that means what you think it means ...
Evidently I didn’t bow low enough or kiss the ring earnestly enough of the self-appointed Pope of Biblical values.
Oh dear. Oh me. Oh my. /sarc
I think I’ll continue to trust Jesus’ perspective on such.
“I highly doubt many have been invited to a gay wedding.”
My boss, the HR Director, instructed our department to attend a gay “commitment ceremony” for two lesbians in our Street Maintenance Department. Not a chance. No way in hell. I didn’t go.
My life at work was negatively impacted until I retired which was, thankfully, only a couple more years. Not intolerable but definitely not fun.
Good for you for taking a stand for Biblical values.
What HR did there ("instructed our department to attend"), didn't sound legal. At all.
That’s awful. Definitely a violation of employees’ rights to do or not do what they want to on their own time off from work.
“Definitely a violation of employees rights...”
So true. So ironic that it was coming from the HR Director.
Awesome! Here it is:
4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
"Man". "Wife". Not "two men" or "two women". Get it? Two men or two women dedicating themselves to a life of sodomy with each other isn't a marriage or a wedding. It's a sick, evil, satanic, anti-Christ disgusting mockery of a marriage and a wedding.
Indeed. Can you imagine a boss coming to an office and demanding employees attend a wedding involving natural marriage? That has never happened to me in all my years of employment.
There was one time at one place I worked where they were throwing a baby shower at work for a lesbian manager whose girlfriend was giving birth to an IVF child. Nothing was explicitly stated but there was all kind of peer pressure for us to attend and show our “support.” I did not attend but I just thought there was such a lack of sensitivity to the idea that someone else might possibly have a different perspective on the whole matter, especially since these people are only co-workers not necessarily friends or family. There’s no right for anyone to have his or her life choices affirmed by co-workers.
Wow, this is a helluva thread. Thanks for the ping.
And there’s no way I could attend a “gay” “wedding” even if it was a member of my own family (God forbid).
It’s a little more difficult deciding whether to attend a wedding where one or both are divorcees.
