Sorry, that video is nonsense.
There was never NOT a Jewish presence in Jerusalem - and most certainly the religious Jews (i.e. those who would cling most closely to Jerusalem) would NEVER have lost the memory of where the Temple was located, or a detailed description of what the Temple Mount looked like and where it was in relation to other important buildings and mountains in and around Jerusalem. To believe that they did is absurd. Just as absurd is the notion that since 1967 thousands of very religious Jews EACH DAY go to the Temple Mount and pray there, but that the “real” location of the Temple was somewhere else.
Traditions die hard.
