Archbishop Luis Ladaria Ferrer, has not even taken over the job as head of the CDF when Polish journalist, Jacek Palasinki informs us that "dark clouds hung" over the Archbishop due to his involvement in the covering up of pedophile priest, Giovanni Trotta. An Italian language report on the diabolical Trotta may be read here.

It does not exist in Canon Law.
The term was used in the Catholic Church centuries ago. In more recent times it has been exclusively a Protestant term.
Lots of Catholics misuse Catholic terminology.
Send me $50 and I will do five hours of research for you.
You’re the one who asserted, without a particle of evidence, that celibacy is the source of the abuse problem among Catholic clergy. How about you cite some evidence?
You should be able to show that married clergy do not molest children.
But they do.
What happened to the last guy. He seemed to have his shite together and all of a sudden he was gone and this nutball is the pope?
I’m an “idiot accuser?” I asked for documentation, of denomination as well as statistics from credible, impartial sources. This is SOP for anyone making such a broad, defensive claim. I note that no documentation or cites have been provided to back that claim up. Therefore, it remains suspect. Provide them and remove the doubt. I am not so biased as to think there are no sexual abusers in any given church. I would, however, like to see unbiased documentation. Just provide it, rather than flinging wild accusations of me being some sort of accuser.
You made the claim, it’s incumbent upon you to back it up, that’s how it works. No documentation, your claim remains suspect. Your call.
Now you've gone completely off the rails. I've never made such a claim. I will say that requiring an unmarried male clergy created a haven for homosexuals, history demonstrates this going back a thousand years, as well as several Roman Catholic authors. Do we hear such sordidness out of the Eastern Orthodox? No, last instance I recall, the man was promptly removed. Their priesthood is married. No haven for homosexuals and no attempts to shelter or protect them. That's on thing that is wrong with your church. Would married priests rid the Roman Catholic Church of all abuse? Obviously not. We are all sinners, even pastors and priests, and some will fall prey to sin. However, this source of repeated difficulties within the RC church is known and it would be a very helpful step to take, allowing or even requiring that priests be married, one that is supported Biblically. It would also help bring Rome out of schism with the Eastern Orthodox and promote unity. Isn't that a good thing? Or is the purported primacy of Rome, i.e. ego, far more important?
Then why are married Protestant clergymen just as, or more, likely to molest children?
You aren’t important enough for me to expend the effort providing the documentation. You’re just a mosquito on an internet forum.
If YOU think your opinions really matter in this great big world, then YOU will expend the effort to seek out the facts.
Watch “The Keepers” on Netflix.
It appears that defrocking was used before the Vatican II era but it wasn’t equivalent with removing a cleric of all his duties, etc. In the pre-Vatican II era full dismissal was called “degradation”. Laicization appears to be a post Vatican II term and will not be found in the 1917 Code of Canon Law.
During our many conversations we spoke of the pedophile problem. He recounted when he went shopping once at a department store and a child spoke to him. He smiled at what the child had said, and then looked at the mother who was with walking with him. Her face was frozen in hatred and anger. Since that day he was never worn his collar while out shopping.
Just so very sad, because there are good priest out there.
From last week. Story seems to have dropped off the radar in the Italian language media.
I asked on another thread and you didn’t answer. Are you still a Priest? If so, it could cloud your view on this topic.
I believe that, yes, there are abusers in all religions. The difference is that when a Priest is accused the Church moves him to a different parish and the incident is covered up where, a Protestant minister is openly accused and arrested. That might be why the numbers are skewed.
Did I miss the pope condemning the gay stuff right near him in the Vatican? Or was he too busy kissing muzzy feet?
Your contentions will remain suspect, then. It seems that you might have some difficulty imagining that you might be but a mere mosquito on an internet forum, yourself.
Your contention remains an undocumented accusation. If you want to continue making this claim and not be challenged upon it each time, then cite your sources for this.
...and issue all of them silk robes to sashay around in...yep, nothing good will ever come from that.
