Praying to others, saints and angels, and Mary, is demonically inspired. It is replacing God with a pantheon of lesser created being.

Looking to them for what we should be looking to the Father for is wrong, plain and simple.

God gives all sorts of different means of help to a Christian, in this way through the angels and saints. If you want to turn down certain types of help, that's up to you.
