Is Sister Christian sitting next to you in Sunday service a closet New Ager? Is your pastor tapping into new spirituality? Are you believing a new thought lie?
I was simply shocked to read the results of a new Barna study that shows only 17 percent of Christians who consider their faith important and attend church regularly actually have a biblical worldview. But I was decidedly dismayed by the subsequent revelations in the report.
In a nutshell, Barna found many Christians strongly agree with worldviews that compete with biblical teachings. In other words, many believers are believing flat out lies. Consider these startling stats about practicing Christians:
38 percent are sympathetic to some Muslim teachings
61 percent agree with ideas rooted in new spirituality
54 percent resonate with postmodernist views
36 percent accept ideas associated with Marxism
29 percent believe ideas based on secularism

You make a post against new age teaching and then quote from a new age Bible. That’s rich.
Yes, this is more along my line of thinking. Grace is never be used as permission to sin. As Christians we should have love first, then joy, and peace. These things come through the outpouring of God’s grace. They are our response offering to God.

so, you believe that Yeshua and John are dead wrong?
You believe the Torah observant life recorded in the Acts was for nothing?
You believe that 80% of the word is of no use to his people?
Paul’s profuse praise of the Colossians for keeping the appointed times was hollow? Let no man but the body of Christ judge you is wrong?
It makes no sense at all.
Grace is the forgiveness for PAST sins, and the writing of Torah on our hearts. (Romans ch 2)
.
The apostles and the elders were gathered together to consider this matter. And after there had been much debate, Peter stood up and said to them, Brothers, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. And God, who knows the heart, bore witness to them, by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us, and he made no distinction between us and them, having cleansed their hearts by faith. Now, therefore, why are you putting God to the test by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear? But we believe that we will be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they will.
And all the assembly fell silent, and they listened to Barnabas and Paul as they related what signs and wonders God had done through them among the Gentiles. After they finished speaking, James replied, Brothers, listen to me. Simeon has related how God first visited the Gentiles, to take from them a people for his name. And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written,
After this I will return, and I will rebuild the tent of David that has fallen; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will restore it, that the remnant of mankind may seek the Lord, and all the Gentiles who are called by my name, says the Lord, who makes these things known from of old.
Therefore my judgment is that we should not trouble those of the Gentiles who turn to God, but should write to them to abstain from the things polluted by idols, and from sexual immorality, and from what has been strangled, and from blood. For from ancient generations Moses has had in every city those who proclaim him, for he is read every Sabbath in the synagogues.
Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, to choose men from among them and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They sent Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, leading men among the brothers, with the following letter: The brothers, both the apostles and the elders, to the brothers who are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia, greetings. Since we have heard that some persons have gone out from us and troubled you with words, unsettling your minds, although we gave them no instructions, it has seemed good to us, having come to one accord, to choose men and send them to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who themselves will tell you the same things by word of mouth. For it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay on you no greater burden than these requirements: that you abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell.

Yes. by all means show us how to invert the meaning of Acts ch 15!!!
Chapter 15 is about how to educate the new believers in the Torah, but the select few here have a higher understanding than the apostles, who are shown in the entirety of the Acts to be carefully attending to obeying Torah.
Posting carefully edited snippets of ch 15 is essential to promoting the Adversary’s “other” gospel.
Omitting verse 21 is the special touch:
” For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.”
The key for the new converts that obviously couldn’t learn the Torah that everyone else present in the council had spent at least 20 years of their lives learning in a few days, so to keep them out of deep trouble they are told the big ones: Avoid things offered to idols, and do not consume blood, which could kill you in a day if you were to consume tainted blood.
So they are left with hearing Moses read “Every Sabbath day.”
That should be easy, since the Apostles themselves were in the synagogue every Sabbath day, according to the rest of the book of the Acts.
When will the deception end?
When will you explain away Hebrews 6, and 10, and Peter’s epistles, all of which say plainly that those that tasted of the things of the spirit, and then turned away, have no avenue to the remission of their sins?

It says what it says.
If you don’t like it, that’s your problem.
we are not under the Law any more.
No amount of Law keeping can save anyone.
It’s by God’s grace and His grace alone because we cannot merit it.
Come out of the cult you are in for your own sake.
Yes, it does say what it says, not the nonsense that you try to make it say.
We’re not “under” Torah, it is our righteousness; its Yehova’s love for his creation.
It will be sooner than it was this morning!
