For a period of time, our family had left the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, and we attended a Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod Church.

I though it rather odd that the LCMS had no problems in supporting and working with the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) but that the WELS had established their own version, Lutheran Pioneer Scouts.

Now it makes perfect sense.

The Assemblies of God churches have their own version of the Boy Scouts, the Royal Rangers.
