It is your position that does not survive a reading of Galatians.
Galatians 5:4 You who want to be justified by the law have cut yourselves off from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
Galatians 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; the only thing that counts is faith working through love.
St. Paul reminds us of the relationship between our baptism, justification, and sanctification.
1 Corinthians 6:11 And this is what some of you used to be. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
And in Galatians 3:27 As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
