We've seen a few changes in the Church. Political correctness, economic justice, global warming. If Jesus didn't talk about them then why are they even important? Was he short sighted?

This isn’t about Jesus. Too many got away with gay predator behavior, which was then covered up as much as possible.

That wasn’t the beginning of the problems, just the beginning of the accidental reveal, followed by pushing the agenda openly now that so many got away with the initial offenses.

It’s always about Jesus, especially how the church has apparently strayed from his grace and is now torn by inner conflicts among different factions, say some members including former Pope Benedict XVI (the real one). Its indifference toward gay predators is one thing, likely endemic of a greater problem. Homosexual groups have long targeted the church for infiltration, from what I’ve seen, and what they themselves have said. Why they’ve wanted in I have no idea, but it isn’t to serve Christ.

It goes deeper than that. The Soviets had a program to infiltrate and corrupt the Church from within in the 1930s, as testified by Bella Dodd. It succeeded very well, which is why many have long believed that the real "third secret" of Fatima concerns the apostasy of the Church hierarchy. This, of course, also explains why it could never be revealed as it hit too close to home.

Thank you for that valuable link to Bella Dodd's Senate testimony in the 50s. Just yesterday someone linked to her book, School of Darkness. The parallels between her testimony of Communist infiltration in our schools and churches in the 30s, 40s and 50s are strikingly similar to what is going on today, and escalating, from both the communists and the islamists.
