If those examples I gave are representative of Catholicism, and they sure seem to be with little or NOT condemnations of them, just the usual deflection and subject changing, then I will wear the label of *heretic* or *apostate* from the Catholic church as a badge of honor.
NO WAY under the sun would I ever think of not condemning that kind of behavior, and yet I see it ALL the time here in FR. The usual thing offered from Catholics is simply excuse making and deflection.
Regardless of bad popes, I will be happy to accommodate you with your "labels".
You are not alone MM. Quite a few of us do. It's nice to KNOW POSITIVELY, that we will go to Heaven, even at the risk of committing a certain sin, that we have been told we commit by saying that. 😀😆😄
