So a precise reading says that Elohim created Adam in his own image, in the Image of Elohim created he him, in other words, .... the scripture clearly states that Elohim is male. After creating Adam in his own image, he created Eve, the first female, who is not precisely in his own image.
I am not saying that God subverts women to men, which I do not believe .... but that the Scripture merely states Elohim is male.
