Let the reader decide the reason for this seemingly inexplicable disparity of treatment of one of the three Fatima seers. To me, however, the conclusion seems obvious: Sister Lucia is an unwelcome messenger whose unwelcome message would be certified by her canonization.

Sister Lucy's cousins died before 1920 and Sister Lucy died in 2005. The Church has already done what it can to expedite Sister Lucy's path to sainthood

Oh, good grief! She’s currently Servant of God, and as it says, the “process for beatification having finally been completed at the diocesan level this February.” Wow! A whole month ago! Like she’s the only person being considered for sainthood in the whole world! Vatican, drop everything and concentrate on Sr. Lucia!
From what I’ve read, since she lived so long there’s a gigantic amount of documentation the Vatican has to go through. I think I posted an article that said how many documents. There’s no way that can be accomplished competently in less than a few YEARS.
For crying out loud. Get a grip, Christopher.
BTW, I pray to the Lady of Fatima, Jacinta, Francisco, and Sr. Lucia every day. So, obviously, I have nothing against the childrens’ canonizations.

I’ll take Jacinta and Francisco. At least it isn’t Fidel and Hugo!

That was also wrong to have done.
The whole saint-factory canonization process is a joke.

I think Lucia is going to be beatified.

I think Lucia is going to be beatified. Is there something you're aware of that you're basing that on?

Yes, we were told that at Daily Mass.

In the same way, Pope Paul VI was passed over for issuing Humanae Vitae.
