I've got to disagree with you somewhat, The nation Israel created in the 20th century has nothing to do with the Israel of the Old Testament other then the both have the same name, and have individuals running around attempting to be like Old Testament Jews even though genetically they have nothing to do with each other. Jesus Christ destroy the first century Old Jewish empire in AD 70. Jesus Christ did not restore that Old Kingdom. The nation of Israel created in the 20th century is a creation of people that do not have a true linage genetically to the Old past. The 20th century Jewish creation might think they are part of the 1st century Jewish kingdom but it is just wishful thinking.
Actually, we don’t disagree. :)
From an Orthodox position that is true. A lot of Orthodox Jews believe current day Israel lacks that “Spiritual” establishment, however we do not exactly know the *entire* mindset of God concerning temporal matters/the explicit geopolitical future and what that means/when the plug will be pulled, etc.
that’s completely false. Not all Jews are Genetic descendants of Abraham, but many are. They share the same DNA, same God, same land, same language, same Torah.
You are spreading a lie if you say no Jew today in Israel is a genetic Jew.
