Two cannot walk together and not agree. Try changing a doctrinely steeped church/denomination with some wrong doctrines. You might as well hit your head into the wall. You will then surely then be accused of divisiveness, be despised and even asked to leave.
What great teachers are you referring to? Can you listen to them on the nét?
In short, they don’t know their bible.
In my experience, most Christians haven’t read the entire bible even once.
There was a time about a decade ago when a year on FR’s religion forum was equivalent to a couple years in seminary. As a grpl, you will remember those times.
It sure was.
I got 91% on the 2009 test. I was weak (80+%) on, “Which minor prophet said this line?” and “Which letter of Paul contains that line?”
Interesting test. I’ll have to give one to Tom the Son.
My goodness, now that it’s light, I see snow on the trees!
Heres a link with previous tests.
I picked one at random and started working through it. Was not a bad test of biblical knowledge.
Bookmarked. That was a good workout. The test I took (2010) was about 70% OT and 30% NT. I had some trouble with the minor OT prophets.
