Last month it was the Anglicans who chose to "queer the liturgy" of evening prayer in honor LGTB history month by renaming the Holy Spirit "The Fantabulosa Fairy" and God the Father became "the Dutchess".
Not to be outdone, Catholic LGTB supporters and numerous left leaning protestant churches throughout the United States and Canada intend to show their support by wearing "glitter ash" on their foreheads to mark Ash Wednesday.

He even gave us Jonah as an example, in case of any potential misinterpretation.
Thus, the unforgivable sin.
If you don’t like the Catholic religion, don’t be Catholic.
It’s that simple. These people that infiltrate churches and teach this perversity are evil. They are there to destroy the church from within.
"Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly." - Matthew 6:16-18That's today's (Ash Wednesday) Gospel reading at Mass.
Miss it? We highlight it.

At sundown “saturday” (i.e. the real Sabbath) he arose from the tomb.
Churchianity exists in fairyland.

>> “ They are destroying the church.” <<
The “Church” is a non-scriptural creation.
Its the eternal assembly, from Adam to the day of Trumpets that Yeshua died to save, not any 4th century jonnie-come-lately “New Testament” invention of men.
It is his assembly, Israel, the House of Judah, and the House of Israel with whom he made the covenant and later renewed it in his son’s blood.
The church is a nothing burger to Yehova.
Their connivances will have no effect on his assembly, since by definition they keep his word.

You’d better check your references. Not one Catholic Church used glitter in the ashes.
A penance service doesn’t mean screaming, “look at me, I’m gay and proud.”
Then I really don’t understand. Do you wear ashes are not?
Oops, for some reason my whole answer disappeared off the screen. I think my Kindle is demon-possessed...
Yes, I wear ashes -— like most Catholics on Ash Wednesday and on no other day of the year.
Our Lord was warning about changing one’s appearance to look individually, distinctively holy in order to attract attention to oneself.
The exact opposite is the case when whole congregations are wearing ashes on Ash Wednesday. Here each person, instead of saying “I’m special,” is saying, “I am like all the rest of mankind. I am mortal. I am dust.”
If a person us swanning about making himself look conspicuously penitential to attract personal attention, he falls under the description of hypocrite.
Thus is not what’s happening today, when the penitent is not asserting his holiness and uniqueness, but rather Hus dirt-level commonality with the rest of the human race.
We are but dust. How profoundly we need a savior!
I don’t know what you are talking about. I just posted the article.
I never mentioned not liking Catholics. I just posted the article.
That was not directed towards you, it was to the article that was posted.
Trying to think of a snappy comeback involving sequins...
Just doesn’t seem penitential enough...
It's ok to laugh out loud a little, though, I think, depending on what's laughed about.
But how about sequins spelling out “COME TO THE CROSS, COME TO JESUS”? With little flourishes and curlicues and tiny sparkly kitten faces....
Now I’m pondering whether “irony” has a verb form....
