Not true. As long as the couple enters into the marriage with the intention that it is permanent, exclusive to one another and open to new life then it is valid.

This is not what I’ve heard.

Could be doctrine not matching with practice, but have seen annulments given for that reason.

But for this one, you probably know more than I do, so I won’t argue the point.
