What Jesus DID say in Matthew 25 is the crucial point. Jesus words are absolute.
Liar.
The sheep of Mt 25 are Christ's true disciples.
His true disciples don't pretend that running that a soup kitchen renders permission to pervert His clear teachings on marriage.
Jesus gave us a vivid and clear picture of the Day of Judgement. The sheep and goats were forever divided. Have you read the account recently? Does Jesus say to the sheep, Come to my right hand side, because you always maintained doctrinal purity, while to the goats, Depart into the eternal fire of damnation, accursed ones, because you embraced liberal doctrines,?

The sheep living in the body of Christ, wedded and bound by grace to Him in His Church, are discerned by whether or not they follow His teachings - and His teaching on Marriage is: MALE and FEMALE. Matt 19:4-6 4 "Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,'a 5 and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'?b 6 So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate." NIV John 14:24 24 He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me. NIV
I believe that Jesus’ words re the division between the sheep and the goats are crucial.
