The issue of what Jesus actually *did* say in Matthew 25 remains crucial. The direct words of Jesus are absolute.
The context of Mt 25 in Matthew 19 and John 14 is ABSOLUTE, wolf - as are the terms MALE and FEMALE.
Matt 19:4-6
4 "Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,'a 5 and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'?b 6 So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."

John 14:24
24 He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
