May I make a suggestion? Encourage your wife to write a check to one of your local Catholic grade schools. Actually write, “St. John Catholic School” on the line, so it can’t be deposited to any other account. These little schools are taking it on the chin on account of the diabolical Pope.

I’d suggest making a donation to a traditional order in honour of Pope Francis. He encourages us to help the despised and the downtrodden—and who is presently more so than they?

That's actually what she did the last two years. I'm a former (conservative, duh) Episcopalian and my church left me. I think my wife feels now about the current pope like I do about my former church.
