Every reception policy that discriminates the persecuted and suffering on religious grounds, Patriarch Louis Raphael I Sako told the Fides news agency, ultimately harms the Christians of the East, because among other things provides arguments to all propaganda and prejudice that attack native Christian communities of the Middle East as foreign bodies, groups supported and defended by Western powers.

Maybe he should have said,
“The less Sunni’s the US takes, the more that are here that will kill Christians.”
It makes as much sense.
Why do so many Catholic church leaders want to invite their own destruction and that of fellow Christians?

I thought there were many interviews with Middle Eastern bishops who said that Muslims cannot be trusted. And now they’re complaining that they (Christians) are getting preferential treatment?
The one bad thing would be to take a dwindling Christian population and have even more leave, leaving the remaining few to the slaughter. I think I recall an article about that where the ones that were staying to fight (maybe they were Kurds, not Christians) felt abandoned.
Dear Iraqi patriarch, your flock would be better served if you pointed out that the executive order does not prioritize Christians over other religions. It prioritizes the religiously oppressed. You are spreading propaganda of the Left. This inclines me to inquire, are you Marxist?
Yet I read last night that the Syrian American Christians in Allentown, PA supported President Trump’s decision.
I live near Allentown.
10 years ago, you would never see a muslim in the mall. After Obamas push, you may see 50 or more.
You will see the women in niqabs. All black covers. If you look at them you will see the owner get angry. Wouldn’t surprise me to see the next massacre of infidels come from town. I like to sit next them and stare. It gets them so pissed off.
Ask them “Sister, what parish are you from? I went to _____” . Hilarity will ensue!
