You believe what you like and I'll believe that there's a better than 50/50 chance that Wilkerson presented something as his own vision when he realized it was true, a case of Grace bestowed on him, and felt he was being as wise as a serpent to not come right out and say those visions of Mary were real and true.
I'm sure he'd be willing to pay whatever the price for what is at the very least in part a deception by him if he felt he had to use that approach to reach people who would plug their ears and stomp their feet rather than listen.
