The odd thing about the present Catholic crisis, is that the head dissenter against the Papal Magisterium happens to be the sitting pope.

I predict he will either receive a formal canonical correction and be prevailed upon to withdraw certain sketchy statements, or abdicate within the year. His errors cannot and will not persist as doctrines in the Church.

Hope that’s the case.

The itch at the back of my mind is that the current college of Cardinals are the ones who elected him. Do they have a heretical/heterodox majority? Were they fooled? Was this an unwise compromise?

What happens if the anti-Christ forces in the Church hierarchy turn out to be a majority?

We know what happens when leftists get into power.
