A vandal who broke into Cardinal Newman High School Monday night demolished windows and doors, toppled statues and ruined computers, causing about $100,000 in damage, according to the Sonoma County Sheriffs Office.
Deputies arrested Andrew Faulkner, 23, of Guerneville, who was found inside the building. They suspect Faulkner was under the influence of drugs.
It looked like a tornado had gone through the administration building, said sheriffs Lt. John Molinari, who toured the building after the arrest. Every office, all the windows were smashed. It was just ransacked. The only thing still intact was the ceiling.
