The ENEA study of the Holy Shroud of Turin concluded that it would take 34 Thousand Billion Watts of VUV radiations to make the image on the shroud. (the most powerful available (VUV light source) on the market come to several billion watts ).Interesting.

The ENEA study of the Holy Shroud of Turin concluded that it would take 34 Thousand Billion Watts of VUV radiations to make the image on the shroud."That's assuming that the image was made by VUV radiation. That has not yet been established, so the statement is misleading (as well as being nonsensical on the face of it - watts are units of power, not energy, and it is not stated for what duration that power would have to be applied.)

(Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.)

No kidding. I do not require proof that the shroud is real to sustain my faith. I really do however have no doubt, that the image was created by God at the exact moment of Christ’s resurrection. The article goes on to say, that that amount of energy is beyond our ability to recreate. God is truly wonderful.
