I have experience as a change agent in manufacturing and experience has proven one maxim I embraced early on: sometimes to fix something you must let it break; in other words, propping up failure tends to extend failure (e.g. if it ain't broke don't fix it)...

Agreed. A lot more has to happen before I believe that the Catholic Religion is returning to Rome. And those things, barring divine intervention, aren't going to happen "very, very soon".
