United Church of Christ Pastor Celebrates Planned Parenthood, Prays for “Right to Choose”
Life News ^ | October 24, 2016 | Micaiah Bilger

One of the key principles of the Christian faith is that all human lives are valuable because they are created in the image of God, and therefore killing an innocent human being is a grave evil.

However, a few Christians stray from these teachings and argue that women should have a “right” to abort their unborn child’s life. Neichelle Guidry Jones, a United Church of Christ pastor from Chicago, is one of them. Last week, she praised and prayed for Planned Parenthood as it celebrated its 100th anniversary, Charisma News reports.

“We celebrate today that on Oct. 16, 1916, Margaret Sanger opened the doors of the first Planned Parenthood clinic right here in New York City,” Guidry Jones said. “And with this act of courage and resistance, the doors were opened for women to overcome the silence and the shame and the stigma inflicted on our sexuality.”

She prayed, “The doors were opened for women to rise up against the political, religious and patriarchal machines that sought to undermine our right to choose and decide what happens to our own perfect, beautiful and holy flesh.”

An abortion is not just a decision involving a woman’s “flesh,” though. An abortion destroys an unborn baby’s body and life, and Planned Parenthood has aborted at least 6,803,782 unborn babies in the past 100 years, according to its own annual reports.

Several women also have died after having abortions at Planned Parenthood facilities. Two years ago, the abortion group paid a $2 million settlement to the family of an Illinois women who died from a botched abortion at one of its facilities. The Planned Parenthood facility reportedly waited five hours before sending the woman to the hospital and never called 911.

Keep up with the latest pro-life news and information on Twitter.

Pro-life leaders also are looking into another abortion-related death in Michigan involving a young woman named Cree Erwin. Erwin died just three days after she had an abortion at the Planned Parenthood facility in Kalamazoo on June 30, 2016, according to records obtained by Operation Rescue.

More recently, the abortion giant also has faced public scrutiny for possibly illegally profiting off the sales of aborted baby body parts. In connection to the scandal, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office filed a lawsuit against two California companies that allegedly sold aborted baby parts from Planned Parenthood earlier in October.

None of these things were mentioned in Guidry Jones’ prayer. Instead, the pastor asked God to give Planned Parenthood and its supporters the power to continue for another 100 years.

“We can’t do this alone,” she prayed. “We might be many, but with You we have been mighty. So come into our gathering with Your presence and Your insight and Your peace and Your power. Come with Your unity that we might be ready when You call. Call on us to stand, call us on us to press and fight, to speak to move and to march on into the next 100 years of Planned Parenthood.”

Abortion advocates describe Planned Parenthood as a caring, trusted women’s health care provider, but its records and the accounts of former employees point to money as its true goal.

In 2014-2015, the abortion “non-profit” brought in $1.3 billion in revenues while killing 324,000 unborn babies in abortions, according to research by the National Right to Life Committee. And its CEO’s salary is nearly $1 million, double what it was five years ago.

Planned Parenthood does not help women or their babies, and its deadly work is nothing to celebrate. It destroys hundreds of thousands of unborn babies’ lives every year and reaps in millions of dollars doing it.

This is an example of more “last days” signs of the times. God will not be mocked. Everyone needs to be prepared to meet Jesus . . .for some the next second could mean one’s last breath. . . http://www.thereishopeinjesus.com/

United Church of Christ is a gay lovers’ social club and nothing more.

Neichelle would do well to read and reflect upon Matthew chapter 7, vs 21-23 in particular.

Eternity is a long time Neichelle, you might want to spend some time getting right with God before it’s too late.

That “church” jumped the shark a long time ago. IMHO not a real church now Anyway. Seems to advocate a lot of anti- biblical ideas

I visited United Church of Christ several times and sensed an aura of “death” in the sanctuary.....meaning, I did not sense the spirit of the Lord there. It was a foreboding feeling, and I couldn’t wait to get leave. I found these people to be arrogant and just plain scary.

The right they’re talking about is to a second choice. The vast majority’s first choice was to make the baby.

Not in the UCC. Probably not in the UCC for the past 40 years.

“Thank you, oh Baal, for providing us with a way to pluck the human weeds, defectives and racial inferiors from our stock. And bless thy servant saint Margaret Sanger for illuminating so clearly your doctrine of eugenics and for spreading the faith to as many women of color as possible! Amen.”

John had a good way to describe this.

18Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour. 19They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us. 1John 2:18-19

A UCC “sanctuary” gives off a whiff of what I’d call “The True Absence”.

Need a serious name change for this group to the “United Church of the anti-Christ!”

Th fact that she calls the flesh holy is a sign she hasn’t even gotten past Genesis 3 in her Bible.

There are several churches in my town that have the name “Church of Christ” in their title. Some are very close to each other too. Have often wondered why this is. Did they have a split 30 or so years ago? Is there more than once type like the Methodists or Presbys?

Some “churches of Christ” are very different from the Ucc. There are several denominations containing those words in their titles. Some are very “ traditional” - even “strict” in their theology. The “ opposite” of UCC, if you will. And some independent non- affiliated congregations include c of c in their titles too. FYI.
FYI.

This election is good versus pure evil. ‘Hillary commits acts ranging from unconscionally bad to totally illegal and is untouched. How does someone get away with this? And look at the number of people who are completely OK with her behavior. I’m thinking that possibly 666 is the number of a woman.

There actually is a profound and paradoxical truth to "holy flesh" if you take in the implications of Matthew 1 (the genealogy f Jesus according to the flesh) and John 1 ("And the Word was made flesh.")

However, that phrase coming from the abortion-enthusiast's imbecilic mouth struck me offensively, too. If she really respects the wonderful embodied beings whom God's Wisdom has made, she would respect the flesh of the unborn child.

That is confusing and making my head explode. It’s also bad for those who would not know that. Gives all of them a bad name.

Also wonder why people would go to a church that says baby killing in okay? Oh sick is that?
