One of the largest evangelical college ministries in the U.S. has asked any staff members who support same-sex relationships to quit, a move critics call a purge and supporter laud as an affirmation of true Christianity.
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship informed all staff about the policy over the summer after issuing a position paper based on their three years of study of sexuality that concluded sex should be reserved for marriage between a man and a woman. The organization’s leaders said employees are expected to “believe and behave” in accord with InterVarsity’s stand on sexuality, including not engaging in immoral sexual behavior or promoting positions that conflict with the group’s beliefs. the author did not back that statement with fact, only that 51% of younger evangelicals answered a survey about it. Not at all a majority of Americans...
Good for InterVarsity. They have chosen not to conform to the world. (Rom. 12:2) My only questiln is why did it take them 3 years to figure this out? BTW, it makes it more astounding is that their HQ is in Madison, WI.

Good for IVF, whether it took them three years or three minutes—they took God’s stance. I’m sure they expect plenty of pushback and abuse, because as Jesus predicted that goes along with siding with God against the World. He will support them through it.
I’m shocked that they waited this long to take this action.

My guess: Non-support of homosexual relationships is condemned as "uncompassionate" and they don't want to be tarred with that brush. Also, sodomy (oral/anal genital contact) is favored in some heterosexual couples as a way of having non-reproductive sexual contact, so they don't see why homosexual couples shouldn't be free to do it as well, right? /s
