In the creation God spoke everything into existence- “Let their be Light…let the seas teem with life…let the waters be divided above and below,,,” and because God said it, it came to pass.
By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth… Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.(Psalm 33:6-9)
But when God created man, he used his own hands- and in a sense H got down into the dirt, and formed out of the dirt his body, with his very hands. In the Creation of man, God literally got his hands dirty.
The Most High then did something even more intimate, He breathed into man’s nostrils, the breath of Life. (Who do you ever allow to do that? Who in your life is that close to you?).
Man is special, He is unique in all of Creation. The Creator literally formed him with his hands and breathed into him the Breath of Life, i.e. the Spirit of Life. Genesis informs us that man is above animals and even above the entire rest of Creation.
The Creation of woman takes this idea even further, her Creation is totally unique and required an extra-ordinary act of the Creator. The first “not good” in the Creation story occurred before the fall of man. It was “Not good that man should be alone”.
Therefore the Creator would turn the first “Not good” into a “good”. How? It looked an awful lot like death and resurrection.
And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.(Genesis 2:21-25)
If man is special, and unique, even more so is woman. Man is God refined dirt, and woman is God refined, refined dirt. The Creation of woman, out of the “side” of man (not literally a rib, but a side) shows the solidarity of Man and Women yet the complimentary difference also, by design of the Creator. Man and woman are equal, yet different. They are not interchangeable, rather they are designed to reflect the Image of God together.
By casting off the teaching of Genesis, the West is now confused as to the relative value of man, woman and animal. Abortion has cheapened human life. The incident in which a Silverback Ape was shot to rescue a child who had slipped into his cage, is revealing. There was much public disapproval of the Zoo Keepers decision to shoot the ape.
We lost much when we forgot Genesis.

We’ve cast off way more than Genesis!
The modern “church” has cast off every scrap of the scriptures from which Yeshua and his apostles ministered.
In so doing they have cast off their own salvation.
