Two things about this article strike me as hypocritical.
1. Lacrosse is such a violent game, with murderous origins.
2. The very definition of the Lacrosse stems from the French LaCroix, which translated means - The Cross.
Strangely poignant.
They were begun to keep their warriors "in tune" for battle: "practice warfare." THAT was why score was always kept, a victor was assured and acclaimed and prizes were given out to the winner(s).
Warriors were started FOR MEN. Women in sports today are most successful if they have the male-type body: narrow hips, knees that descend straight down from the hips and smaller breasts.
The Latina women in sports/soccer ALWAYS end up with severe injuries to their lower bodies. I don't think that I've ever seen the prototype body in them.
